Our family has had the very fortunate experience of having Anchor Care in Holland MI be an integral part of my father's care from April 2021-Dec 2023. The care ranged from 2 hours twice a week from one primary care giver to 24/7 care. Initially the care was greater as Dad recovered from covid (at age 94) and then decreased to 2 hours twice a week. The woman who saw him regularly during this time was so very loving and generous. She truly cared deeply and was unfailingly dependable. We had assurance that Dad's needs were met and that she would notify us of any concerns. Over time we needed to steadily increase the number of hours and level of care to 24/7 as Dad developed dementia and a general decline. The entire team at Anchor supported us meticulously along the way. The nursing care manager and staffing manager along with the increasing number of in-person care givers always provided what was needed and communicated well with us. Often, they would go out of their way to see that Dad got his needs met in the most caring fashion possible. What stood out to us the most was that the entire team cared for Dad out of genuine love and concern and they were unfailingly professional and dependable. Our Dad is gone now, but we will be eternally grateful that they helped us care so well for him in the last years of his life.
